NPR will air Springsteen speech
NPR Music will offer a live webcast and broadcast of Bruce Springsteen’s keynote speech from Austin’s South by Southwest conference Thursday, March 15. The entire event will be available at NPR Music, via the NPR Music iPhone and iPad apps and at sxsw.com. The NPR Music broadcast will also air on many public radio stations across the country.

Monkee Davy Jones dies
Singer Davy Jones of the Monkees has died at the age of 66 in Florida. The Monkees started in 1966, and the band’s “I’m a Believer” was the biggest record of 1967.
